Hollow Bone

In the old traditions the expression hollow bone was used to signify Oneness with God – the underlying state of neutrality required to express God’s purest will, unfettered by human limitation, intention, or demand.
One may experience this state by surrendering one’s ego to the realization of one’s Higher Self, that part of Self that is aligned with God’s purest will, deepest love, and gentlest, most nurturing presence.
In meditation or prayer one simply lets go, surrendering to the Grace that is called forth to assist in this process - a process that is not to be taken lightly, but with sincerity and humbleness/humility of heart.
It is indeed a humble and pure heart that is the key to such awakening.
Human nature is indeed an expression of Divine nature, and it is merely our lesser understanding that seeks to judge it, to suppress and limit it. At the heart of every living being is Divine Presence – a truth Grace helps to reveal.
As we walk through our lives in non-judgment, allowing and accepting events and others just as they are, we may begin to percieve anew through the qualities of Grace and to experience our lives in hollow-bone-fashion, as instruments of unconditional love, deep peace, gentle and joyous presence.
May Grace bless each moment of our lives as we open, ask, and receive Her Divine Presence that we may flow Her qualities as our own.
